WKU celebrating International Education Week: WKU is celebrating International Education Week (IEW) this week with a dynamic calendar of events that emphasize the importance of fostering cultural awareness and preparing WKU students to become productive, engaged and socially responsible citizen-leaders of a global society. More: The IEW Dialogue Series begins this afternoon with a presentation of Beyond the Dream, hosted by the WKU Center for Citizenship & Social Justice.

GFCB Hosts Business and Professionalism Week: The Gordon Ford College of Business will host Business and Professionalism Week this week to provide students a variety of opportunities to develop and hone their workplace readiness skills. Most events will take place in Grise Hall on WKU’s main campus.
- View from the Hill – Share Fair highlights Community Supported Agriculture: Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA, took center stage at WKU recently as part of campus sustainability day. It was a chance for local farmers to get in front of the campus community as Amy Bingham explains in this View from the Hill.
- Robert Brown motivates 5th grade math students with a WKU Homecoming-themed project: “There’s no place like home” for WKU alum Robert Brown (’15) of Glasgow, so it just seemed right to create a project for his 5th grade math students at Park City Elementary based on his alma mater’s Homecoming theme.
- ‘Give Red, Give Life’: WKU vs. MTSU Blood Drive Nov. 13-15: WKU and the surrounding communities can now schedule an appointment to give blood during the WKU vs. MTSU Blood Drive competition from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 13-15 at WKU’s Preston Health and Activities Center.
- WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. WKU’s Public Radio can be heard on WKYU-FM (88.9) in Bowling Green/Glasgow; WDCL-FM (89.7) in Somerset/Campbellsville; WKPB-FM (88.9) in Henderson/Owensboro; WKUE-FM (90.9) in Elizabethtown/Bardstown; and online at http://www.wkyufm.org/

- Volleyball: No. 25 WKU Sweeps MTSU for Fourth-Straight C-USA Regular Season Title: For the fourth-consecutive season, WKU Volleyball has claimed at least a share of the Conference USA regular season title with Sunday’s sweep at Middle Tennessee. The 25th-ranked Lady Toppers are the first Conference USA squad to ever win four-straight regular season titles and would clinch the outright title with a win at North Texas on Thursday. - Football: Vanderbilt Tops WKU 31-17: Kyle Shurmur hit Trent Sherfield on a 4-yard scoring pass on Vanderbilt’s opening drive and the Commodores never trailed in a 31-17 win over WKU on Saturday. Next: WKU at Marshall this Saturday.
- Basketball: Stansbury, Clark-Heard Radio Shows Begin Tonight from High Tops: The Rick Stansbury and Michelle Clark-Heard Radio Shows begin tonight with the first of 15 airings throughout the 2017-18 season. The shows will originate from High Tops in Bowling Green, while the Jan. 29 shows will be held at Colton’s Steak House in Glasgow.

- Titans top Ravens in matchup with former WKU greats: The Tennessee Titans beat Baltimore 23-20 on Sunday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. Former WKU wide receiver Taywan Taylor, a rookie with Tennessee (5-3), had one reception for a loss of four yards. Veteran running back Bobby Rainey, also a former WKU great, had one rush for two yards, a reception for a yard loss, a kickoff return for 22 yards and two punt returns for 11 yards for Baltimore (4-5).
