Elizabethtown area scholars honored

WKU honored 47 students from six Elizabethtown area high schools for their academic achievements.

This year’s group has an average ACT composite score of 28.7 and grade-point average of 3.9 and included four National Merit Semifinalists and 25 Kentucky Governor’s Scholars.

The following students were honored at a luncheon Nov. 10 at the State Theater in Elizabethtown:

  • Nov. 16: Bowling Green/Warren County Scholars Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. at WKU’s Carroll Knicely Conference Center in Bowling Green.
  • Nov. 18: Lexington Area Scholars Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. (Eastern time) at Lexington Signature Club.
  • Dec. 6: Glasgow Area Scholars Luncheon, sponsored by South Central Bank, at 11:30 a.m. at the South Central Bank Operations Center in Glasgow.
