But if one Bowling Green pharmacy came closest to becoming an institution, it was Younglove’s Drugstore.

WKU in the News
- Governor’s budget proposal amounts to $4 million reduction for WKU, cuts statewide weather network: WKU is facing a $4.6 million cut and elimination of funding for its statewide weather network under a budget plan proposed Tuesday by Gov. Matt Bevin.
- March, speeches honor King’s legacy: MLK Planning Committee member Howard Bailey, retired WKU vice president for student affairs, announced at the program that the committee was funding two $500 scholarships for local high school students. Ron Lewis, a 1970 WKU graduate, was presented with the Humanitarian Award by the committee.
- Feuds with UAB, MTSU on tap in major weekend for WKU: Thursday’s game for WKU is its biggest of the season. It’s the biggest game of the season because it’s the next one. That’s been the Hilltoppers’ mantra throughout the season, a cliché as old as they come. But so far that narrative has suited WKU just fine. The Tops (13-5, 5-0 Conference USA) are winners of six straight and have tried their hardest to approach each game as its own entity.
