WKU in the News

  • The Coach Who Has What Everybody’s Chasing: Travis Hudson could go big time if he wanted to. The bigger name schools call, asking him to take over their women’s volleyball programs. But Hudson stays put. He’s been the head coach at WKU for the last 23 years and he has no plans of changing that. “This world is full of people who are chasing success, but I believe if you do the right things and you do it every day, success will find you.”
  • Tops trending toward a much better season in Stansbury’s second year: Fifteen games into the 2017-18 season, WKU is trending to being a much better team in Rick Stansbury’s second year compared to his first. The Hilltoppers (10-5, 2-0 Conference USA) have made their living defensively and unselfishly en route to an impressive start considering only eight players have been active in 14 games – and only seven were available for the other one.
