WKU in the News

  • Hilltoppers headed to 4th straight sunny bowl destination: WKU has had it pretty good lately when it comes to bowl destinations. The Hilltoppers went to Nassau in 2014 for the Bahamas Bowl. Their 2015 bowl trip was to Miami for the now-defunct Miami Beach Bowl. 2016 brought another trip to south Florida, that time for the Boca Raton Bowl. Now the WKU program will head to Florida for a third straight year and south to a warm-weather locale for the fourth straight. The Toppers accepted a bid Sunday to the Cure Bowl, where they’ll face Georgia State on Dec. 16 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla.
