WKU in the News

  • The Underrated Music City Outside Of Nashville That Everyone Needs To Visit: While Nashville is known as “Music City,” there’s a neighboring town that needs to be on every music lover’s radar. Just a short, one-hour drive from the popular Tennessee capital is Kentucky’s, Bowling Green. Not only is the state’s third largest city home to WKU, it also has an up-and-coming music scene you can’t ignore.
  • Lady Toppers hope playing close to home helps to get program over the hump: WKU has been to the NCAA Tournament 10 times and for three years running. Not once has it been able to advance past the event’s opening weekend. The Lady Toppers’ 11th trip to the NCAA Tournament will, at least, be close to home. And maybe that will help push WKU (30-3) over the proverbial hump.
