  • The WKU Forensics Team was crowned team sweepstakes champion at the largest tournament of the fall semester.

    WKU Forensics Team wins largest tournament of fall semester: The WKU Forensics Team was crowned team sweepstakes champion at the largest tournament of the fall semester Nov. 4-5 in Peoria, Illinois.

  • Biology breakthrough: How WKU’s Biotechnology Center became a research hub: WKU’s Biotechnology Center is a busy place. The Center, founded in 1996 with only seven biology faculty members, has grown to 25 members representing five departments (chemistry, agriculture, physics and astronomy, exercise science and biology).
  • WKU Week in Photos: Oct. 30-Nov. 3, 2017: Check out the latest installment of WKU Week in Photos by Clinton Lewis and Bryan Lemon of WKU Public Affairs.
  • WKU celebrating International Education Week: WKU is celebrating International Education Week (IEW) this week with a dynamic calendar of events that emphasize the importance of fostering cultural awareness and preparing WKU students to become productive, engaged and socially responsible citizen-leaders of a global society.
  • GFCB Hosts Business and Professionalism Week: The Gordon Ford College of Business will host Business and Professionalism Week this week to provide students a variety of opportunities to develop and hone their workplace readiness skills. Most events will take place in Grise Hall on WKU’s main campus.
  • ‘Give Red, Give Life’: WKU vs. MTSU Blood Drive Nov. 13-15: WKU and the surrounding communities can now schedule an appointment to give blood during the WKU vs. MTSU Blood Drive competition from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 13-15 at WKU’s Preston Health and Activities Center.
  • WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. WKU’s Public Radio can be heard on WKYU-FM (88.9) in Bowling Green/Glasgow; WDCL-FM (89.7) in Somerset/Campbellsville; WKPB-FM (88.9) in Henderson/Owensboro; WKUE-FM (90.9) in Elizabethtown/Bardstown; and online at http://www.wkyufm.org/
