  • WKU selects Kenya for 2020-2021 International Year Of … program: Together with a committee of WKU faculty, the Office of International Programs (OIP) has selected Kenya as the target country for the 2020-2021 International Year of… (IYO) program following a spring 2017 call for proposals.
  • Members of the WKU Forensics Team competed at Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

    WKU Forensics Team competes in tournaments in Wisconsin: The WKU Forensics Team traveled to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, to take part in two tournaments — the first two of the Mid-America Forensic League — hosted on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh the weekend of Sept. 30-Oct. 1.

  • Volleyball: Engle, Lucas Collect Conference USA Honors for Third & Fifth Straight Weeks: As WKU Volleyball extended its winning streak to 13 matches and tied the Conference USA record for consecutive contests won against league opponents, the league office has again recognized Jessica Lucas and Sydney Engle for their performances. The awards mark the third-consecutive week that Engle has earned Defensive Player of the Week while Lucas has won the Setter of the Week honor five straight weeks now.

  • Tops emerge from bye week facing winless UTEP team: WKU is refueled, refreshed and rehabilitated. Texas El Paso is reeling. The two programs meet at 7 p.m. CDT Saturday in a matchup of teams seemingly going different directions: The Hilltoppers (2-2, 0-1 Conference USA) are coming off a come-from-behind win at home and a bye week, the Miners (0-5, 0-1 Conference USA) have been outscored 226-72 in five straight losses and are 7-18 in there last 25.
