    Psychological Science Graduate Student Earns Scholarship for Research: Shelby Bandel, a graduate student in Psychological Sciences at WKU, is a recipient of a 2017 Graduate Research Scholarship from the American Psychological Foundation (APF) and the Council of Graduate Departments of Psychology.

  • View from the Hill – Hands-Only CPR Training: If someone around you goes into cardiac arrest, would you know what to do? The American Heart Association offered a fun but simple training on WKU’s campus last week as Amy Bingham tells us in this View from the Hill.

  • Bosnian community honored in new WKU exhibit: Through displays showcasing traditional Bosnian footwear, a coffee set, living room and others, Bowling Green’s Bosnian community saw its stories commemorated Friday with the opening of an exhibit at the Kentucky Museum at WKU.
  • WKU professor looks into Chinese rape case by American soldiers: When Chunmei Du began studying a historic rape case involving a Chinese university student and two American GIs, she discovered it was a window into the larger course of Chinese-U.S. relations. “I was really interested in the turning point,” said Du, an associate professor of history at WKU. Du’s research has been selected as the beneficiary of a $17,500 grant from the Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exchange based in Taiwan.
