WKU student entrepreneurs honored at Idea State U

WKU seniors Muamer Razic (left) and Kendra Mitchell were among the award winners April 22 during the annual Idea State U competition.

WKU seniors Muamer Razic of Bowling Green and Kendra Mitchell of Princeton were among the award winners April 22 in Lexington during the annual Idea State U, a business plan competition designed to identify and support the next generation of Kentucky innovators and entrepreneurs.

Razic, an organizational leadership major with minors in sales and entrepreneurship, captured the grand prize of $25,000 for the business plan for Level Lacrosse.

Mitchell, a kinesiology major with an entrepreneurship minor, placed third and won $3,000 in the business model portion for Fetch & Flex. Mitchell also won the 60-second pitch competition, earning another $100.
