Ademuyewo crowned WKU’s 2017 Coming Home King

Adeleke Ademuyewo of Cincinnati, Ohio, was crowned WKU’s 2017 Coming Home King on Thursday night (March 2).

Ademuyewo, the son of Adelaja and Debra Ademuyewo, is a Construction Management major and was sponsored by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated. He was crowned at halftime of Hilltopper basketball’s victory over North Texas.

First runner-up was Matthew Bunnell of Glasgow, the son of Terry and Debbie Bunnell. He is an Accounting major and was sponsored by Phi Mu.

Second runner-up was Justin Atkinson of St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Michael and Cynthia Atkinson. He is a Hospitality Management and Dietetics double major and was sponsored by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.

Twenty-five Coming Home King candidates were nominated by various campus organizations and departments. More: List of Coming Home King candidates.
