Thirty-eight WKU students, including 11 from The Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science in Kentucky, will present their research at the 2017 Posters-at-the-Capitol event March 2 in Frankfort.
In its 16th year, Posters-at-the-Capitol is a showcase of more than 100 scholarly, research and creative projects led by undergraduate students from the state-funded universities in the Commonwealth and KCTCS. During the one-day event, students present their faculty-mentored projects to those responsible for crafting higher education policy in Kentucky. The program runs from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. (Eastern time) with special remarks in the Capitol Rotunda at 10:45 a.m. (Eastern time).

- Graduate student Maleah J. Boisture of Sacramento will present Aging and Caregiver Issues Related to New Trends of HIV. Faculty mentor: Dr. William Mkanta, Department of Public Health.
