The WKU Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society inducted 11 members Feb. 9 at a ceremony in the Downing Student Union.
Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society, recognizes and encourages superior leadership and exemplary character. The group supports collaboration among students, faculty and members of all ages and across the five phases celebrated by ODK: scholarship, athletics, service, communication and arts. Since the founding in 1914, ODK has continued to honor and develop leaders through scholarships, workshops, career opportunities, leadership resources and a lifelong connection to other members.
The 2017 induction ceremony was conducted by the Circle’s advisors, Charley Pride, Director of Student Activities, and Andrew Rash, Student Activities Coordinator. Also in attendance was Tara Singer, the National Executive Director of Omicron Delta Kappa. Omicron Delta Kappa is based in Lexington, Virginia.
Inductees are Connor Brown of Mount Washington; Matthew Bunnell of Glasgow; Hayden Delozier of Louisville; Meghan Dillon of Crestwood; Alex Ellerman of Paducah; Daniel Hillenmeyer of Villa Hills; Erin Jackson of Elizabethtown; Carson Kuhl of Shelbyville; Emily Pride of Bowling Green; J. Logan Reynolds of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and Jordan Webb of Shelbyville, Tennessee.
The following students were elected as officers: Emily Pride, President; Hayden Delozier, Vice President; and Carson Kuhl, Treasurer.
