Humans on Mars will be presented Jan. 5-Feb. 14 at WKU’s Hardin Planetarium.

Show times are 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free and suitable for all ages.

About the show: What does it take to send humans to Mars? The astronauts will have to spend at least a half-year to get from Earth to Mars. Such a long trip through space requires millions of pounds of supplies and consideration for the physical and mental hardships on the crew. This show will discuss the strategies being proposed by some of the multiple entities proposing to send people to Mars as the next great leap for humankind. The 45-minute show will begin on time, with no late entrance permitted. The Hardin Planetarium is located at the corner of College Heights Boulevard and State Street.
