WKU received several awards at the annual meeting of the Kentucky chapter of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE Kentucky).
The awards were presented to the Public Affairs and Development and Alumni Relations divisions Dec. 12 in Lexington.
Grand awards: editorial design for Office of International Programs and the Office of Study Abroad & Global Learning Thank You Calendar; illustration for Fool for Lover Poster; photography-series for Birding Class; best practices in fundraising for The Campaign at WKU; annual report for WKU Public Affairs Annual Report; magazine B for Potter College Arts & Letters 50th Anniversary Magazine; communications & marketing-external relations engagement program for WKU NPR-Public Radio Fund Drive; writing for the media for WKU-Iceland Climate Change Partnership Coverage.
Awards of excellence: marketing/branding video for By the Numbers Video; online innovation/experimentation for People of WKU; multipage publication or folder for Confucius Institute Annual Report 2014; photography-individual for Geosphere and for Walk a Mile in Her Shoes; photography-series for Clydesdales on the Hill; communications & marketing-media relations program for WKU Office of Scholar Development-National Scholarship Media Relations Program.
Special merit: total advertising campaign for the Joint Admissions Campaign; social media strategy and execution for #skydivegary; graphic design cover for Gordon Ford College of Business Ford Report Cover; periodical for The Challenge Magazine; single-page publication or flier for Violin Fest Flier.
