25 WKU students candidates for 2015 Homecoming queen

Twenty-five students are candidates for 2015 Homecoming queen at WKU.

The queen will be crowned at halftime of WKU’s Homecoming game against Florida Atlantic on Nov. 7. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium.

Candidates will participate in numerous activities during Homecoming Week including a fall social on Nov. 1, an interview on Nov. 3 , a volunteer experience on Nov. 4, Bowling Green Chili and Cheese Luncheon and Pep Rally on Nov. 5 and the Homecoming Parade and Big Red’s Roar on Nov. 6. WKU students will cast their votes for queen in online balloting on Nov. 2.

Candidates are:

  • Lizzie Brand of Bowling Green, the daughter of Marcus and Nancy Brand. She is a Nutrition/Dietetics major and is sponsored by Alpha Delta Pi, Sigma Chi and Phi Beta Sigma.
  • Olivia Charles of Lexington, the daughter of Randy and Margo Charles. She is an Elementary Education major and is sponsored by Chi Omega, Phi Delta Theta and Alpha Kappa Alpha.
  • Jordan Coffman of Elizabethtown, the daughter of Brent Coffman and Allie O’Brien. She is an Elementary Education major and is sponsored by WKU Student Alumni Ambassaors.
  • Haley Doose of Bowling Green, the daughter of Sherri Doose. She is a Biology/Chemistry major and is sponsored by Alpha Omicron Pi, FIJI and Sigma Gamma Rho.
  • Dana Ebb of Franklin, Tennessee, the daughter of Dan Ebb and Jane McClure. She is a Chemistry/Religious Studies major and is sponsored by Omega Phi Alpha, Sigma Alpha Epsilon and Sigma Alpha.
  • Mallory Fulkerson of Crestwood, the daughter of David and Tamara Fulkerson. She is an Elementary Education major and is sponsored by Sigma Kappa, Kappa Alpha Order, Alpha Gamma Rho and Kappa Alpha Psi.
  • Emily Gerard of Bowling Green, the daughter of Donald and Maura Gerard. She is a Communication Studies/Psychology major and is sponsored by the Department of Communication.
  • Catharine Dee Gardner of Versailles, the daughter of Robbie and Martha Gardner. She is a Broadcast Journalism/Athletic Coaching major and is sponsored by Alpha Gamma Delta, FarmHouse and Sigma Phi Epsilon.
  • Jessica Henao Barragan of Louisville, the daughter of Orlando Henao and Martha Barragan. She is an International Business major and is sponsored by Hilltoppers Organization of Latin American Students.
  • Hayley Hoback of Louisville, the daughter of Jill Hoback. She is a Public Relations major and is sponsored by Delta Zeta, Sigma Nu and Delta Sigma Theta.
