Graduate student receives AORE scholarship award

Leah Rossettie of Corning, New York, a graduate assistant in WKU’s Outdoor Adventure Recreation Center, was selected by the Association of Outdoor Recreation and Education (AORE) to receive the 2015 Student Scholarship Award.

The scholarship is awarded to student members who demonstrate significant contributions to the AORE and to the field of outdoor recreation and assists student members with their registration fees for the 2015 AORE National Conference.

Each student scholarship award recipient will donate 10 volunteer hours to the AORE during the national conference Nov. 18-20 in Atlanta.

Rossettie is pursuing a master’s degree in Recreation and Sport Administration in the School of Kinesiology, Recreation and Sport.
