The renovation took place over two years and was made possible by the original endowment created in 1988 with the opening of the Liberty Street location of the new regional campus, and additional funding from Chancellor Sally Ray to complete the current project.

The library increased computers to 10, has additional space for laptops, a circulating book collection, new carpet, entry doors, improved lighting, repositioned service area and flexible seating options. The WKU Glasgow Campus Library is located in room 151.

WKU Libraries Dean Connie Foster noted: “The significance of partnerships from education, government, civic groups, businesses, and unique fundraisers cannot be understated in allowing us to provide a more inviting library for students to study and collaborate. Through improvements like these we continue to commit to enrich ways that enhance the student’s educational journey at WKU.”
