The Academic Advising & Retention Center and Study Abroad and Global Learning Offices of WKU will host the 2015 Majors and Minors & Study Abroad Fair on Sept. 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Raymond B. Preston Health and Activities Center.
This partnership will give students the unique opportunity to explore WKU majors and expand their education through a study abroad experience that fits with their academic and career goals. This event is open to all current WKU and Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) students.
A complimentary shuttle will be provided to all interested SKYCTC students. The shuttle will run every 20 minutes between the SKYCTC campus and WKU. All student attendees will have an opportunity to win one of two Study Abroad and Global Learning scholarships. Study Abroad and Global Learning will be giving away a free t-shirt to the first 500 students and a variety of door prizes will be raffled throughout the event. Door prizes were made possible by the generosity of the following WKU departments and local businesses: College of Health and Human Services, Honors College, Potter College of Arts & Letters, WellU, CiCi’s Pizza, Domino’s, El Mazatlán, Great American Donut Shop, Mellow Mushroom and Wild Eggs.
