Water service should be restored to three WKU buildings by the beginning of the workday Tuesday (Aug. 4).
Construction crews working to improve access between buildings broke the unmarked line earlier today (Aug. 3), interrupting service to Van Meter, Gordon Wilson and Cherry halls. Lack of water also means air conditioning is off, according to Bryan Russell, Chief Facilities Officer.
He said the old, 2 ½-inch galvanized line will be entirely replaced.
“We’re sorry for any inconvenience this caused,” he said. “It has been all hands on deck getting it repaired.”
