The first-place winners were decided by individual or small team competition in a number of scientific fields represented by Ogden College of Science and Engineering including Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Geography, Geology and Physics.
The winning schools will represent Kentucky at the Science Olympiad National Tournament hosted by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on May 15-16.
Final results from the competition are available on the Kentucky Science Olympiad website at http://www.wku.edu/scienceolympiad/scoring_results.php.
The success of this event is due to the dedication of middle and high school students and teachers. The event would not be possible without the outstanding volunteer work of the faculty, staff and students at WKU.
