It’s time for a road trip across years and miles. Bob, A Life in Five Acts, by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb, will be presented at 8 p.m. April 20 and 21 in The Lab Theatre in WKU’s Gordon Wilson Hall. In this play, the audience will be taken on a whirlwind tour of Bob’s unique life.
Director Eric Mattingly looked at numerous shows during his selection process. “The playwright did a great job of writing a show that will have people laughing then crying on the next page. It is gut busting funny, then will leave you with goosebumps,” Mattingly said.
Graham Luker, a WKU freshman who plays the title character, agreed that the play will appeal to audiences. “I think that everyone will see some part of themselves in Bob. The show will be a ton of fun,” Luker said. “It will make people laugh all night long before it hits them with something personable and real and vulnerable.”
