Physicians, coders and practice managers can learn about revisions to the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems during a free class 1-3 p.m. April 29 in Bowling Green.
WKU’s Institute for Rural Health, the WKU College of Health & Human Services, South Central Area Health Education Center, Kentucky Office of Rural Health, and the University of Kentucky Center of Excellence in Rural Health are sponsoring the class at the Knicely Conference Center, 654 Campbell Lane.
The workshop will give an understanding of the nature of ICD-10 and how to promote a positive implementation within a practice. The session will also cover recommended actions to support a smooth transition for small physician practices.
