WKU will celebrate student research and creativity March 23-28 during REACH (Research Experiences and Creative Heights) Week.
The week’s events include a kickoff reception, showcases of scholarly activity by colleges and other campus programs, lectures and the 45th annual Student Research Conference. REACH Week is dedicated to students who have engaged in research, creative endeavors and other scholarly activities at WKU.
Highlights of REACH Week include the following:
- REACH Week kickoff reception, 4 p.m.-6 p.m. Monday (March 23) at Augenstein Alumni Center.
- Presentation by Dr. Frank Etscorn, inventor of the nicotine patch, 5:30 p.m. Wednesday (March 25) at Gary Ransdell Hall Auditorium.
- Presentation by Bill Johnson, president and CEO of Tennessee Valley Authority, 2 p.m. Thursday (March 26) at Grise Hall Auditorium.
- 45th annual Student Research Conference, 8:30 a.m. Saturday (March 28) at Downing Student Union.
