WKU signs agreement with Xavier School of Nursing in Aruba

Dr. John Bonaguro, (left) Dean of WKU’s College of Health and Human Services, and Ravishankar Bhooplapur, President of Xavier’s Aruba Campus, signed an agreement Jan. 27 that will allow Xavier University School of Nursing students in Aruba to come to WKU for U.S.-based clinical experience.

WKU’s School of Nursing now has a Caribbean connection.

WKU has signed an agreement with Xavier University School of Nursing in Aruba (XUSON) that will allow XUSON students to come to WKU for U.S.-based clinical nursing experience.

The agreement was signed Jan. 27 by John Bonaguro, Dean of WKU’s College of Health and Human Services, and Ravishankar Bhooplapur, President of Xavier’s Aruba Campus.

XUSON students are required to complete a U.S.-based clinical nursing experience as a part of the nursing bachelor’s degree program.
