The SOKY Children’s Chorus will offer another audition opportunity from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Jan. 10 at the Knicely Conference Center on WKU’s South Campus. The ensemble program, developed through a partnership between WKU Department of Music and the WKU Division of Extended Learning and Outreach, offers music education for children grades 4-6.
The main purpose of the Chorus is to supplement programs offered through local schools and churches and provide additional local, regional and national performance opportunities.
The program will run Jan. 24-May 1 with rehearsals on Tuesday evenings at First Christian Church in downtown Bowling Green. Program fees are $150 per semester. WKU alumni, faculty and staff receive a $25 discount. There is also a $25 second-child discount. Audition pre-registration is available by calling (270) 745-1912.
