WKU honored 56 students from eight high schools in the Owensboro area for their academic achievements.
Monday’s annual High School Scholars Luncheon honored students who qualify for an academic scholarship to WKU. This year’s group has an average ACT composite score of 29.5 and grade-point average of 3.89 and included 41 Kentucky Governor’s Scholars and four National Merit Semifinalists.
The students honored included:
