The Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen Spring Fair will be held May 16-17 at WKU’s Carroll Knicely Conference Center in Bowling Green.
This event by juried members of the Guild is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 16 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 17. Fine arts and crafts will be on display in more than 70 booths both indoors and outdoors at WKU’s South Campus.
Kentucky’s finest artists and crafts persons, along with guest artists, will have on display the highest quality work in glass, ironwork, jewelry, pottery, wood, photography, and 2D fine art.
The Guild is comprised of artists and craftsmen in a host of media. The scope of the Guild’s art is vast, yet all of the handcrafted works reflect masterful skill and uncompromising attention to detail.
Demonstrations held outside the Knicely Center include woodturning, papermaking, stone carving, broom making, and basket making. Times for outdoor demonstrations are 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days.
This art show will share the best of both traditional and contemporary arts and crafts produced in Kentucky by juried members of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen.
