WKU weather alert for March 4, 2014

Here’s a WKU winter weather alert for Tuesday (March 4):

  • WKU’s Bowling Green campuses, including South Campus and Medical Center Health Sciences Complex, will remain closed Tuesday (March 4) to give facilities crews more time to clear ice and snow. Please use caution and best judgment when traveling.
  • WKU’s Glasgow campus will be closed Tuesday (March 4).
  • WKU’s Owensboro campus offices will close at noon Tuesday (March 4); all classes at WKU-O canceled.
  • WKU’s Elizabethtown/Fort Knox campus will open at noon (EST) Tuesday (March 4); classes will begin at 12:45 p.m.
  • WKU Dining March 4 update for main campus: Fresh Food Company will be open until 8 p.m.; Starbucks open until 6 p.m.; Subway at Bates open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Topper Cafe open 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • The Healthy Days Student Health Fair has been rescheduled to March 25 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Preston Health and Activities Center.
  • Lecture canceled: Tuesday afternoon’s presentation by Dr. Dawn Duke in the Tracing the Unexplored: Brazil’s Multicultural Society series has been canceled.
  • Performance rescheduled: Tonight’s performance by WKU Concert Band and Wind Ensemble at Van Meter Hall has been rescheduled to 7:30 p.m. Thursday (March 6).
  • Presentation postponed: Tonight’s presentation on The Debut of Women’s Olympic Boxing by Christy Halbert has been postponed.
