SOKY Reads!—a community “one book” reading project—continues in its 10th year with programs focusing on the book Man in the Blue Moon by award-winning author Michael Morris.
Booklist says “Morris has created a magical portrait of a rural southern town on the brink of personal and global change…It is a beautifully written and deeply memorable story of abandonment and loss and the redemptive powers of hard work, faith, and forgiveness.”
Free copies of the book will be distributed at 5 p.m. Aug. 22 at Warren County Public Library and from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Sept. 4 at the main campus of Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College. There are also a limited number of books for interested book clubs. To receive copies, contact Kristie Lowry, WKU Libraries Literary Outreach Coordinator, at email@example.com or (270) 745-4502.
