Located on the campus of WKU, The Summer Camp is a day camp designed for advanced ability and high interest children who have completed grades one, two, three, or four during the previous school year.  This year, The Summer Camp’s theme was Creativity.

Young people from 15 Kentucky school districts, four Kentucky private schools, one Kentucky Diocese and three states participated in The Summer Camp.

Students attended five classes each day, including Acting, Art, Clowning, Language Arts and Science. Students also took part in fun activities ranging from a rocket launch to a cookout on the final day.

The dates for the third year of The Summer Camp are July 14 to 18, 2014.
