WKU’s Institute for Rural Health will be participating in the Hart County Community Dental Day on July 20 at the Hart County Health Department.
The event will be 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. with registration beginning at 7:45 a.m. The services offered to the community will include dental exams, dental cleanings, extractions and fillings. The event will be on a first come, first served basis.
To be eligible, the patient must reside in Hart County and not have dental insurance, including Medicaid. Patients will receive one free service of their choosing. Patients 18 and under must have a consent form signed by their parent/guardian.
The event is sponsored by the Hart County Oral Health Coalition. The dental services will be offered by the WKU Institute for Rural Health with Dr. Daniel Carter and the Barren River District Health Department Mighty Molars Program with Dr. Jason Coomer and Dr. Will Whiteside.
