WKU’s Department of Political Science is inviting students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members to attend the inauguration of President Obama on Jan. 21.
Department head Saundra Ardrey has led inaugural trips since 1989.
The trip is scheduled for Jan. 20-23. The WKU group will travel by chartered bus and spend three nights in Alexandria, Va.
The group will attend the inauguration on Jan. 21 and is tentatively scheduled to meet with U.S. Rep. Brett Guthrie, U.S. Sen. Rand Paul and U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell.
The cost is $550, which includes transportation, three-night accommodation and guided tour of Washington. Seating is limited so reservations need to be made soon.
