The Kentucky Small Business Development Center (KSBDC) inducted Miller Slaughter, WKU SBDC Center Director, into its 2012 Million Dollar Loan Club.

The Million Dollar Loan Club is exclusive to KSBDC management consultants who help small business clients secure over a million dollars of loans to start, purchase and expand their businesses. Across the state, KSBDC consultants helped small businesses secure $24.8 million in loans during FY 2011-2012. Including Slaughter, 12 consultants were inducted.
“It is an honor to have these consultants reach this milestone especially during a year of economic uncertainty, “ said Becky Naugle, Ph.D., KSBDC State Director. “Helping our clients secure capital is one of our primary services and extremely vital to the growth and success of small businesses.”
The WKU SBDC serves Allen, Barren, Butler, Cumberland, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson and Warren counties and is a part of the Kentucky Small Business Development Center.
