Matt Long and Jeremy Benton, alumni of WKU’s Department of Theatre & Dance, will be appearing next week in a TV series and on stage.
Long, a native of Winchester, will join the cast of ABC’s “Private Practice” on the Oct. 23 episode. Long will play a new doctor at St. Ambrose hospital in a recurring role. The show airs at 9 p.m. (Central time).
Long’s TV and film credits include “Jack & Bobby,” “Ghost Rider,” “The Deep End” and “Mad Men.”
Benton, a native of Nashville, Tenn., will be part of the cast of Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of “Anything Goes” Oct. 23-28 at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville.
Benton was a guest artist for the Department of Theatre & Dance last year and directed the production of “Oklahoma.” He has appeared on Broadway in “42nd Street,” in regional tours of “42nd Street,” “Irving Berlin’s White Christmas,” and Kennedy Center’s “Mame,” and in the film “The Producers.”
