WKU opened the “Instruments of American Excellence” Collection at the Kentucky Museum on Friday (Sept. 21). The collection spotlights the ordinary means by which renowned Americans from all fields of study have achieved extraordinary things. To date WKU has received 150 contributions of the important instruments that great Americans have used in the scientific, medical, art, music, dance, manufacturing and athletic worlds. Several contributors were on hand for the ribbon cutting. Additional photos are available on the WKU Facebook page. More information on the exhibit is available at http://www.wku.edu/iae and on Facebook or Twitter. (WKU photos by Clinton Lewis)
