Dr. Stuart Foster
Dr. Stuart Foster, Professor of Geography at WKU, Director of the Kentucky Mesonet and the Kentucky Climate Center, and State Climatologist, gave the keynote address on March 27 at the 2012 Regional Conference on Nature’s Call to Action.
His talk, titled Weather vs Climate, addressed the distinction between weather and climate, climate change in Kentucky, and the Kentucky Mesonet.
Sponsored by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the two-day conference focused on the many steps that government and citizens can take to clean up the air while also reducing traffic congestion, improving communities, and saving taxpayer money.
