A groundbreaking ceremony for WKU’s new Augenstein Alumni Center was conducted July 15. A large crowd participated in the ceremony at the site near 14th and Center streets. WKU President Gary Ransdell thanked Dale Augenstein, 2011-12 president of the WKU Alumni Association, for his support of the center and for his continued work in leading the fund-raising effort. Dr. Ransdell also congratulated Donald Smith, executive director of the WKU Alumni Association, for his leadership role in making the new alumni center a reality.
