WKU President Gary Ransdell will make a special announcement Friday (May 6) concerning WKU’s SKyTeach program.
The announcement will be made at 11:30 a.m. in the Kentucky Building at a luncheon for students in the SKyTeach program. More than 200 students are enrolled in SKyTeach, which is modeled after the highly successful UTeach program at the University of Texas-Austin. It is a collaboration between the Ogden College of Science and Engineering and the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences to increase the number and quality of teachers in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) disciplines.
