Teairra Timmons of Frankfort was among more than 200 outstanding students invited by the College of Health and Human Services to a recognition luncheon Feb. 18. Barbara Bush, interim associate dean, presented Timmons with a certificate recognizing her academic achievements.
WKU’s College of Health and Human Services recognized outstanding students Friday (Feb. 18) at its seventh annual Academic Achievement Awards Luncheon.
More than 200 students who earned a 3.4 GPA or above in their first semester at WKU were eligible to attend the event at the dining room of the Academic Complex. The Academic Center for Excellence staff organized the event for the students and their parents.
Dr. John Bonaguro, dean of the College of Health and Human Services, and Barbara Bush, interim associate dean, congratulated the scholars.
