Dr. Len Peters, secretary of the Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet, will be the special guest at the Outdoor Celebration of the WKU Upper Green River Biological Preserve at 1 p.m. Thursday (July 22).
The celebration recognizes the Kentucky Heritage Land Conservation Fund projects across the Commonwealth, with specific recognition to the projects at the preserve. The preserve is located at 150 W. Walters Road in Horse Cave.
Dr. Peters will be joined by WKU President Gary Ransdell and others in making remarks.
Shuttle service will be available from the preserve entrance.
