WKU geography faculty member John All became the ultimate Hilltopper recently when he reached the summit of Mount Everest. “I carried the WKU banner to the top of the highest place on Earth to inspire our students and encourage them to actively explore the many possibilities that life holds for everyone,” Dr. All said. “If a middle-aged professor can summit Mt. Everest, who knows what they can do!” Dr. All, an expert in climate change as well as an avid climber/adventurer, is working in Nepal on a Fulbright scholarship and is studying climate change in the Himalayas. Dr. All shared his experiences and excerpts from his journal in a recent story in the Bowling Green Daily News.
