SGA presents its annual awards

WKU’s Student Government Association recently presented its annual awards.

Greg Capillo, a senior from Lexington, received the Dero Downing Award, which is based on outstanding contribution to the university and is open to all students.

Kaylee Egerer, a sophomore from Rochester, Mich., received the Outstanding Senator Award, which is based on outstanding contribution to the organization.

Jerebeth Lucas, a senior from Pineville, received the Outstanding Committee Member award, which is based on outstanding contribution through work in a committee.

Kendrick Bryan, a graduate student from Elizabethtown, received the Charles A. Keown Award. This award is intended to be the greatest honor given by student government to the member of Senate, Executive Cabinet or Judicial Council who has devoted the highest level of dedication to the organization.

Katie Stillwell, a sophomore from Bowling Green, received the Kerrie Faye Stewart Memorial Award, which is based on campus involvement, academic achievement, enthusiasm and dedication.

Stuart Kenderes, a junior from Independence, received the Mary Angela Norcia Award, which is based on campus leadership, academics, charismatic personality and having “The Spirit Makes the Master.”
