View from the Hill: Derby princess

A WKU student has been in the middle of all the Kentucky Derby festivities this month. Graduate student Heather Cowherd of Bowling Green was one of five women chosen to serve as a Kentucky Derby Festival Princess. But that’s not the only recognition she’s received this year; Cowherd also is a recipient of the Congressional Award. WKU’s Amy Bingham has more in this View from the Hill report:
