WKU will be hosting the Kentucky State level of the National Geographic Bee at the Carroll Knicely Conference Center on Friday (April 9).
The preliminary rounds will begin at 10 a.m. (Central time), and the final round will start at 12:30 p.m.
A number of WKU geography and teacher education professors and students will be participating as judges, moderators, timers and scorekeepers. This year’s Kentucky Geographic Bee is sponsored by Google and Plum Creek.
Each year the National Geographic Bee helps students become more aware of their physical and cultural surroundings. To test your geography smarts, go to http://www.nationalgeographic.com/geobee/
