Media advisory: WKU to announce international affiliation agreement

WKU and officials from an international educational company will announce an affiliation agreement on Monday (Jan. 11) that will bring a significant number of international students to WKU. The announcement will be at 10 a.m. in the Martin Regents Room, Mass Media and Technology Hall.

Veterans Upward Bound classes begin Jan. 19; plenty of openings available

Veterans Upward Bound at WKU will begin its Spring 2010 classes on Jan.19 at 8:30 a.m. in Jones-Jaggers Hall. Veterans who do not have a dishonorable discharge are welcome to join the program to attend these free classes. Open: WKU campuses in Bowling Green, Glasgow and Owensboro will be open Friday, Jan. 8. Closed: WKU campuses in Elizabethtown, Radcliff and Fort Knox will be closed Friday, Jan. 8, and Saturday, Jan. 9.
