Community room dedication Sept. 18 at PFT for business college students

WKU’s Housing and Residence Life and the Gordon Ford College of Business will host the Community Room Dedication for the J.L. Marshall Living & Learning Community at noon Friday (Sept. 18) on the 22nd floor of Pearce-Ford Tower.

The J.L. Marshall Living-Learning Community (LLC) is a unique environment in which a select group of students share common residential and academic experiences. The Community Room will be a dedicated space for all business living-learning community students to be able to meet and work on class projects.

Pearce-Ford Tower is home to all Learning and Living Communities on campus, one of which is the J.L. Marshall Living-Learning Community for business students.

As a member of a Living-Learning Community, students have the chance to get to know their instructors and develop strong friendships with their fellow students. They create purposeful links among academic, residential and social components of the undergraduate experience.

WKU President Gary Ransdell will make opening remarks at the dedication ceremony followed by Dr. William Tallon, dean of the Gordon Ford College of Business, and James L. Marshall, president of Marshall Capital Management Group and Business Living-Learning Community sponsor.

The dedication ceremony will be followed by a reception on the 27th floor of Pearce-Ford Tower.
