G.I. Jobs magazine has named WKU as one of the top “military friendly” schools for 2010.
WKU ranks in the top 15 percent of schools that best accommodate soldiers and other military personnel. Included in WKU’s efforts are special tuition rates, degree programs at Fort Knox, awarding credit for specialized military training and occupational specialty, actively coordinating programs and accommodations from the Military Installation Voluntary Review Board.
The list was compiled through exhaustive research starting last May during which G.I. Jobs polled more than 7,000 schools nationwide. The 2010 list is available here.
