South Campus bookstore: The grand opening of the newly renovated University Bookstore South Campus location will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 19 with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m.

Orchestra concert: The Bowling Green Western Symphony Orchestra will present “Hilltop Virtuosi” at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 19 at First Baptist Church, downtown Bowling Green. Tickets are $18 for adults and $5 for students; $20 at the door for adults. Contact: BGWSO at (270) 745-7681.

Black History Month keynote speaker: Dr. Calvin Mackie, motivational speaker, author, inventor, professor, entrepreneur and mentor, will speak at 7 p.m. Feb. 25 at Mass Media and Technology Hall Auditorium. His visit is sponsored by Campus Activities Board and Office of Diversity Programs.

Spring Break day camp: The Kentucky Library & Museum will host its 2009 Spring Break Arts Day Camp March 16-20. Activities, designed for children in grades 1-6, will be held from 8 a.m. to noon.
