With the acceptance of his latest co-authored research article selected for publication, Dr. Johnny Chan, Leon Page Professor of Banking and Financial Planning in WKU’s Gordon Ford College of Business, has reached a major milestone — 100 career publications.
“Ranking accounting journals using dissertation citation analysis: A research note” has been accepted for publication in Accounting, Organizations, and Society (AOS). AOS is regarded as one of the top four accounting journals and the top behavioral accounting journal.
Dr. Chan also has published his research in other top journals such as the Journal of International Business Studies and Real Estate Economics. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and won the College public service award in 2007, College research award in 2005 and 2008, and the Vitale Award for Innovation, Initiative, and Leadership in 2008.
